Let me now narrate an incident,ofcourse Humorous, on routes of travel!
Few years back, when I wanted to visit Udamalpet, boarding a Bus from Coimbatore via Pollachi,I could not get a direct Bus due to which I had to get down at Pollachi enroute.On getting down, I saw a Bus just moving in front of me where I could see clearly the sign-board displaying- Coimbatore-Udamalpet at rear end.Having no time  to turn around &verify from front end, I just got inside only to find that it was full of people packed & standing. Bus started picking-up speed.
It took some time  for conductor to come to me squishing in the rush for giving a ticket.I told him- உடுமலை ஒன்னு!
He  looked at me amazingly & queried- என்ன சார், ஊருக்கு புதுசா? இது கோவை போகுது!
I got puzzled & told him- இல்லே சார், பஸ் பின்னாலே பார்த்தேனே, உடுமலை போட்டு இருந்துது!
His reply- போட்டிருந்த ஈரிடுவீன்களா முன்னாலே பார்க்கணும் தெரியுதா?
Me சரி சார், நான் இங்கேயே இறங்கறேன்,
He- இங்கே இறங்க முடியாது கிணத்துகடவு வரைக்கும் டிக்கெட் தரேன்! அங்கே இருந்து மறுபடியும் பொள்ளாச்சி போங்க, முன்னாலே பார்த்து ஈருங்க.
No other go   for me, bought a ticket, reached Pollachi again half the way  double the time wasted!Saw a Bus, verified twice from front end, ensured also from conductor that it goes to Udamalpet only to get irritated reply confirming it.  Funniest part of this comical episode is that I hail from Pollachi, had my studies there right from Elementary to the Polytechnic & well-known about the routes.யானைக்கும் அடி சரக்கும்!
